Japanese cooking chopsticks are an essential tool in Japanese cooking, and are often the primary tool used in food preparation. Japanese cooking chopsticks are generally longer than chopsticks made for eating that allow handling of hot food with one hand. They can be used in various types of cooking as the additional length keeps hands away from the heat source. Though commonly made with wood, these have a durable stainless steel tips that allow for better heat resistance and wood handles for low heat conductivity and a better grip. It is a versatile tool with pointed tips allowing you to serve and plate up fine detailed presentation.
